About this deal

So, when should you wear The Dreamer by Versace? Surprisingly, it’s all-season wear and nearly every occasion. I wouldn’t recommend wearing it on the hottest days of summer or the coldest days of winter. As it is too much or too little respectively. The fragrance opens with a blast of sweetness. The dry-down hints of tobacco, ending with an aromatic woody trail.

This isn’t the best choice if it’s your very FIRST fragrance. Yet, for everyone else, it’s a great addition to your collection. In 2012, Aurelien Guichard developed the fragrance, which is a fresh, woodsy, oriental scent. Top notes of Italian lemon, mint oil, and green apple give the cologne a crisp opening. Over time, the fragrance dries down to a seductive vetiver and cedar base with a hint of sweet, masculine vanilla. Like the rest of the Versace fragrance line— this bottle features the Medusa logo prominently. Compared to many of their other bottle designs, this one is more subdued and subtle with a light gold and silver theme. The notes of a fragrance are the individual scents that make up the anatomy of the perfume. Top notes of this cologne, which are what you sense when you first spray it, include: Juniper, Lilly and Wildflowers. The middle notes which last throughout most of the scent’s life are iris and linen. Then after the fragrance dies down you are left with the base notes: Tobacco, Amber and Tarragon. Juniper is actually an original favoring for Gin and through the Dutch word for Juniper is how Gin got it’s name. Juniper is a piney scent and is why people would classify The Dreamer as a woodsy fragrance but, I don’t think it is with wildflowers, amber and tobacco. Tarragon is a very pungent and sweet spice used in soda within Russia giving this fragrance it’s originality. Another iconic fragrance from Versace is the Versace Pour Homme Eau de Toilette. This is a classic and masculine scent, featuring notes of lemon, bergamot and neroli. The heart contains clary sage, hyacinth, and cedarwood, while the base notes include tonka beans, musk, and amber.

With its pleasant scent, you can’t tell whether you’re at an exotic spice bazaar or your favorite Italian bakery thanks to its dry, spicy aroma that is wonderfully balanced with the savor of amber and floral sweetness in the middle notes. Named after the son of Aphrodite and the Greek God of Love, Eros draws inspiration from Greek mythology. Donatella Versace proclaimed, “Eros is truly the DNA of the house of Versace.” Most Versace perfumes are known to be crowd-pleasers, but this might not be the case with Dreamer by Versace. Upon encountering the scent, most people either adore it or dislike it. I find VD much too sweet and cloying, Ditto Sculpture, M7 and Opium for Men, but as the saying goes, one man's meat is another man's Persian. To each his own.Short answer. Yes. Why? It’s affordable, smells great, and has decent performance. But there are always cons with the pros. The biggest con is the decisiveness. If you’re considering this for your FIRST fragrance, this might not be the best first choice. But this is an excellent buy if you’re adding another affordable option to your collection. Besuited Aroma gives Versace The Dreamer a rating of 8.4 out of 10. How Do The People Rate Versace The Dreamer One of Versace's most popular fragrances is the Versace Eros Eau de Parfum. Inspired by Greek mythology and featuring a blend of fresh mint leaves, Italian lemon zest, and green apple, the heart of the fragrance contains tonka beans, geranium flowers and Venezuelan ambroxan, while the base notes include vanilla, cedarwood, and oakmoss. In this Versace Dreamer review, you will discover why this fragrance elicits such divergent views. Read on to learn more about the cologne’s fragrance notes, presentation, and who is most likely to wear it. The Story Behind Versace the Dreamer EDT Cologne
